Who’s ready to rock the block? We are! The Delray Beach CRA is so proud to once again partner with local organizations as well as community members to help improve homes within our district.
Rock the Block has been a City of Delray Beach tradition since 1989. In 2018, the event evolved into a new and exciting partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County. Now, 35 years later, the event is still going strong and continues to promote the same mission of working together to better our community and those who call it home.
The 2024 event is scheduled for Saturday, April 20 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you are reading this prior to the event, there’s still a chance to volunteer!
This exciting annual event aims to revitalize one community in Delray, and does so by uniting hundreds of volunteers in a block party-style, hands-on volunteer experience. Together, 10 homes will be transformed in just one day.
Volunteers can expect to help with exterior home repairs, painting, landscaping, and more. It’s an exciting opportunity where volunteers can learn new skills, connect with the community, and build brighter futures for their neighbors.
Rock the Block is a partnership between Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County, the Delray Beach CRA, the City of Delray Beach, and Delray Beach Neighborhood and Community Services.
