Glavidia Hair Studios Thrives with CRA Funding Assistance
Starting a business is a journey filled with challenges and triumphs, and for Glavidia Alexis, owner of Glavidia Hair Studios, LLC, that journey began with a rented booth space in a local salon. Driven by her passion and vision, Alexis took a leap of faith and established her own boutique salon in 2012, right in the heart of Pineapple Grove. Since then, Glavidia Hair Studios (GHS) has become a community favorite, known for its personalized hair care, extension application, nail services, makeup artistry, facials, and even custom fashion designs.
As GHS continued to grow, Alexis faced the need to relocate and renovate her salon to better serve her clients. The Delray Beach CRA stepped in, providing crucial funding assistance to help bring her vision to life. The funds supported extensive renovations, including a completely new plumbing system, a new water heater, and essential electrical work—transforming the space into a beautifully designed, fully operational salon.
“The Delray Beach CRA was able to assist my business in the process of reopening my salon in a new location,” said Alexis. “The assistance grant helped with plumbing in the salon, a new water heater, and some electrical work. GHS needed a completely new waterline and plumbing system installed, which was a huge undertaking as we had to completely renovate and design a new workstation. We were thrilled to celebrate a successful re-grand opening, with our studio shampoo station completed and ready for our customers.”
With help from the CRA’s funding assistance, Glavidia Hair Studios is now thriving in its new location, continuing to offer top-notch beauty services and a welcoming environment for all. Alexis’s dedication to her craft and her community is evident in every detail of the salon, and she is excited to continue growing her business in the vibrant Pineapple Grove district.
