Blanc Beauty Salon Opens New Location Thanks to Hatcher Construction & Development and the Delray Beach CRA
When Hatcher Construction & Development, Inc. decided they needed more space to grow their family run business, they didn’t just think of themselves. They also thought about giving back to the community and offering space in their new office for other growing businesses. Norcibien Monhomme is now one of the first people to move his business, Blanc Beauty Salon, into the newly developed commercial space.
After more than 35 years in the same location on the 700 block (26 NW Sixth Ave., Unit 6), Norcibien decided to take advantage of this opportunity so that he could grow his barber business by offering more services and welcoming more clients.
“Over the years, the City of Delray Beach continues to grow, and as a local resident I felt a strong connection to this growth. Various opportunities to relocate my business were presented, but connection to this community and the people I serve kept me grounded,” Norcibien said. “When the opportunity for my current location opened up, I jumped on it [with] great excitement and gratitude. This location allows me to be close to the people I’ve come to know and formed loving friendships with over the years.”
Norcibien has also been a resident of Delray Beach for almost 40 years. He held various jobs while building his barber business part time. After a decade of hard work growing his customer base, he decided to make his barbershop his full-time commitment.
“The increase of space at this location provides room for me to increase my services. Also, the new and modern equipment creates a wonderful experience for my customers’ hair care,” Norcibien said. “Looking ahead, my goal is to create opportunities for others by adding additional barbers, as well as a braiding specialist, to expand upon the services offered to the community.”
Hatcher Construction & Development, Inc.’s new headquarters was made possible with the help of two CRA Incentive Programs: the Land Value Investment Program and the Development Infrastructure Assistance Program. Not only does the Hatcher Construction & Development, Inc. benefit, but now so does Norcibien.
Blanc Beauty Salon is open seven days a week. Their new address in the Hatcher Construction & Development, Inc. office space is 20 NW Sixth Ave.
