95 SW 5th Avenue Project: A New Opportunity for Delray Beach Businesses
The 95 SW 5th Avenue Project is progressing steadily, bringing transformative potential to the Delray Beach community. With construction nearing its anticipated completion before spring 2025, this project is set to address vital community needs, offering affordable commercial spaces for essential services such as healthcare.
Project Updates and Next Steps
“Construction should be wrapping up before the start of spring 2025. We are in the final stages and discussing what type of tenants the community wants to see in the building,” said Christine Tibbs, Assistant Director of the CRA. As the final construction comes to a close, the CRA is actively considering tenants that align with the community’s feedback.
A Hub for Medical Services
Community plans have highlighted a need for medical services in the area. “Through the ‘2012 West Atlantic Needs’ Study, residents shared that they need and would like to have access to centralized centers of medical providers such as primary care physicians, dentists, mental healthcare providers, etc. within their community,” Tibbs said.
The CRA is opening their applications for tenant spaces to begin the process of making 95 SW 5th Avenue a hub for these services. This focus aims to provide residents with convenient access to healthcare that was requested back in 2012.
Becoming a Tenant: What You Need to Know
“We’ve been sharing the construction status of the building at our CRA Socials, Board meetings, and at other community events. At this time, we are exploring the possibility of having the building be a space for medical professionals,” Tibbs explained.
Businesses interested in leasing space can expect the application process to open soon. While full details are still being finalized, the CRA encourages businesses that are committed to serving the community to stay informed and reach out.
As 2025 approaches, excitement is growing for the grand opening of this affordable commercial space. The 95 SW 5th Avenue Project is an example of community-driven development, with the CRA dedicated to supporting local businesses and meeting the area’s needs.
Stay tuned for updates on the application process. For now, interested businesses can attend CRA events to learn more about this opportunity to help improve Delray Beach’s healthcare options.
