Ready your reusable bags, sun hat and appetite because the Winter GreenMarket is back! As if that’s not enough reason to celebrate, this is the 29th Annual Winter GreenMarket, and it’s bigger and better than ever.
Regardless if you’re a local who knows all the ins and outs of the Market, or you’re a visitor and this is your first season, you’re sure to enjoy your time spent perusing what the best local vendors have to offer.
The GreenMarket is a Saturday morning destination as an open-air marketplace located in Old School Square. Started in 1996 by the Community Redevelopment Agency, the Delray GreenMarket has become one of the most popular and charming aspects of the “season” in Delray Beach.
At the GreenMarket you’ll find more than 50 premier food vendors featuring farm-to-fork produce, just-picked citrus, tropical fruit and juice, farm fresh eggs, artisan cheese and jams, fragrant baked goods, plenty of gluten-free/vegan/organic products, fresh-cut flowers, plants and other unique gourmet fare.
As if that’s not enough of a draw (which it is!), there’s live music every Saturday, as well as plenty of opportunity to see hundreds of your community neighbors, pet a hoard of dogs, purchase your needed produce for the week all while supporting local vendors, and getting some fresh air and much needed sunshine.
In addition to our favorite returning vendors, the 2024-2025 Winter GreenMarket will include more vegan options, balsamic vinegars and olive oils, sea moss and more.
An added bonus is that the Delray Beach CRA is excited to offer SNAP benefits at the Delray Beach GreenMarket. You can also double your SNAP benefits, so for every $1 you spend you get $1 in Fresh Access Bucks (up to $40).
The Winter GreenMarket opens Saturday, October 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Old School Square Campus, 51 N. Swinton Ave. The season runs through Saturday, May 17, 2025.
The GreenMarket is a great way to shop local and enjoy the best of Delray and surrounding areas, and everyone’s invited. See you there!
