CRA Socials: Bridging the Community and the CRA in Delray Beach
In an effort to connect with the community we love serving, the CRA team is continuing our socials in 2024! We know that most community members are busy during our office hours and can’t always take the time from work to visit us. This is why we decided the best way to share CRA happenings and learn feedback from our community members was to host social events after working hours and on a weeknight.
We have hosted a few so far in 2023 and they were so successful that we decided to continue the program into 2024.
The CRA Socials are a great refresher into who we are and an awesome time to get to know the Delray Beach CRA team. During the socials we will share information about CRAs, what we do, upcoming projects, and the basics of how CRAs function.
“We started hosting a social event as a way for our community members to meet us, talk with members of our team, and learn more information about the CRA in the evening times,” said Renée Jadusingh, Executive Director of the Delray Beach CRA. “Our office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the week, and we know that not everyone can make it to see us during working hours, so we wanted to [host socials so we can] share information about the CRA and learn information from our community members as well.”
These gatherings underscore a commitment to transparency, engagement, and community involvement, ensuring that the pivotal work of the CRA and the voices of Delray Beach residents move in harmony. Looking ahead to the remainder of 2024, the CRA team eagerly anticipates more of these enriching socials, continuing to weave the fabric of our community closer together while fostering a shared vision for the future of Delray Beach.
So mark your calendar for the upcoming CRA Socials, which are always on Thursdays from 5 to 7 p.m. We hope to see you there!
