StellaMix Finds Creative Roots at 98 NW 5th Avenue
For Janine Stella, storytelling has always been at the heart of her work. With a background in production and a passion for helping others share their voice, she launched StellaMix, a full-service podcast studio dedicated to guiding creators from concept to broadcast.
“StellaMix was created from my belief that everyone has a story worth sharing — they just need the right stage to tell it,” Stella shared. “It’s not just about recording audio — it’s about helping people bring their voice and brand to life.”
That mission found the right home in the Delray Beach CRA’s building at 98 NW 5th Avenue, where StellaMix joined the growing list of local creative ventures supported by CRA initiatives. With affordable rent, a prime location, and a layout that suits professional recording, the space became the perfect foundation for growth.
“Having an affordable, beautifully located space has been transformational for StellaMix,” said Stella. “It gave me the stability to grow, expand services, hire locally, and welcome clients into a professional environment that inspires confidence.”
StellaMix offers more than just recording booths — the space hosts workshops, podcast launch parties, and collaborative client sessions that turn ideas into well-produced content. The visibility and convenience of the 5th Avenue location have also deepened ties with nearby businesses and nonprofits, strengthening StellaMix’s role as a community-focused creative hub.
While Stella hasn’t yet used the CRA’s Site Development Assistance Program, she plans to as the studio evolves with new fixtures and sound upgrades. “Knowing this resource exists gives me confidence in planning for the future,” she said.
For other entrepreneurs considering a CRA-supported space, Stella’s advice is clear: “Do it. The CRA doesn’t just provide space — they invest in your long-term success. This could be the opportunity that moves your business from ‘one day’ to ‘day one.’”
