Supporting Neighborhood Revitalization Through Curb Appeal Grants
Since its launch in 2007, the Delray Beach CRA’s Curb Appeal Residential Improvement Program has supported various homeowners in enhancing the exterior appearance of their properties. By offering up to $15,000 in funding for minor structural and cosmetic improvements, the program helps address slum and blight while increasing property values across the Northwest and Southwest neighborhoods of the CRA District.
Supporting Neighborhood Pride and Property Value
The program is open to owners of single-family homes and duplexes and covers eligible exterior projects that contribute to overall neighborhood aesthetics. These improvements can include things like new doors or windows, painting, fencing, landscaping, or other enhancements that give homes a fresh, well-maintained look.
By focusing on minor but high-impact upgrades, the program not only uplifts individual homes but contributes to broader neighborhood revitalization. It reflects one of the CRA’s core goals: eliminating blight while supporting vibrant, well-maintained communities.
How It Works
Funding is approved on a first-come, first-served basis and is budgeted annually. Applications are reviewed carefully, and property owners are encouraged to begin the process early, as project bids and application processing may take several weeks.
If you or someone you know owns a qualifying property and could benefit from exterior home improvements, the CRA encourages you to apply.
