The GreenMarket is a Saturday morning destination as an open air marketplace located at Old School Square Park on NE 2nd Avenue, a half block north of Atlantic Avenue in downtown Delray Beach. Started in 1996 by the Community Redevelopment Agency, the Delray GreenMarket has become one of the most popular and charming aspects of the “season” in Delray Beach. At the GreenMarket you’ll find more than 65 vendors featuring Palm Beach County farm-to-fork produce, just picked citrus and juice, farm fresh eggs, raw milk and butter, 100% grass-fed and finished (antibiotic and hormone free) Florida beef, poultry, pork and lamb, fragrant artisan baked goods, plenty of gluten free, vegan and sugar free products, fresh cut flowers, plants and other unique gourmet fare along with live musical entertainment each week.

The 2nd Annual Summer GreenMarket is open every Saturday, 9 am to noon, June 4th through August 20th, 2016, and is located in the eastern half of the Tennis Center parking lot at 201 West Atlantic Avenue.  The Summer Market is a scaled down version of the Winter Market with approximately 30 vendors.

The Winter GreenMarket will open for its 21st season on Saturday, October 29th and run through May 20, 2017.  The GreenMarket is open every Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm and is located in Old School Square Park in downtown Delray Beach.

On this Halloween edition of Delray Morning Live we had Ali Kaufman and a few of her very creative students from space of mind on to talk about this Friday's Halloween Fall Fest and Haunted House at the Delray Beach Historical Society. They also brought us samples of their Mason Jar Munchies which will be on sale at the Delray Beach Green Market which opens back up this Saturday! Mark Denkler from Vince Canning Shoes and Tootsies Delray Beach then joined us to tell everyone about the history of the Delray Beach Halloween Parade. Delray's longest running event (we think) welcomes all the kids down to Atlantic Ave - Delray Beach for trick of treating and to partake in their very own Halloween Parade. Tavarius Jackson (Coach TJ), Coach Jamael Stewart, and Lee Cohen of 1800CallLee stopped by to get us and commmunity excited about this week's Atlantic Community High School football game. Go Eagles! Don't forget the LPGA Legends Tour and Little River Band @ Seagate Country Club in Delray Beach, FL this Sunday. Special thanks to our show sponsor Celsius, and our show host, Woo Creative.
