How to Apply

If you would like to apply for funding assistance for a business start-up, business expansion project, commercial property improvements, or commercial development, there are several things you must do. First, please complete a Business Grant Intake Form and submit it to the CRA. This will help us guide you toward any grant programs that you may be eligible to receive.

Before you can submit an application for any Funding program, all applicants are required to attend a CRA Pre-Application Funded Workshop.

Workshops generally last one and half hours and are held twice a month or as needed. During the workshop, CRA staff will review program guidelines, including eligibility criteria, reporting and monitoring requirements, and payment policies. You will also learn what to include in your application packet and what to expect as you go through the approval process. You are welcome to attend a workshop at any time, even if you are just beginning to gather information for your business venture.
