Spring is a Berry Lovely Time!
Spring has officially sprung, bringing strawberry season with it! And, there’s no better way to celebrate its arrival than sharing a strawberry-filled recipe from the Delray GreenMarket’s cookbook, “Tastes of the Season.” Thank you Cindy Federspiel for this amazing recipe!
Using strawberries in the kitchen is the perfect way to add a refreshing touch to any meal. This featured recipe, a marshmallow Grand Marnier dip with strawberries, is the ideal spring dessert for the family, or to bring to a neighborhood barbeque!
Marshmallow Grand Marnier Dip with Strawberries
- 7 oz. jar of marshmallow cream
- ½ cup of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of Grand Marnier
- 2 quarts of fresh strawberries, un-hulled
In a small bowl, stir together the marshmallow cream, mayonnaise, and Grand Marnier. Refrigerate marshmallow dip until ready for use. Wash strawberries and drain on paper towels. Place strawberries on a pretty platter around a small bowl of marshmallow dip. This dip can be made several days ahead and will keep in the refrigerator, but strawberries should not be washed until day of use.
