Delray Beach Advantage

As South Florida’s emerging entrepreneurial community, Delray Beach is a diverse, vibrant full-service City who is attracting and growing businesses and companies of all sizes. More companies are choosing Delray Beach for their startup enterprises, regional offices and headquarters, taking advantage of our rich culture of innovation and track record of success.

Creative businesses are flocking to Delray Beach, with a growing cluster of enterprises in the fine and performing arts, architecture, fashion, design, and film industries.  Sustainable and technology sector businesses are also attracted to Delray Beach because of our reputation for balancing modern society’s demands for resources, such as energy, water and land, with the protection of our historical and natural environment.

With three international airports within an hour’s drive, two Interstate 95 exits and nearby access to the Florida Turnpike, railways and ports, Delray Beach is perfectly situated for businesses seeking to compete on a global scale and expand their international markets too.

Village-Like Charm

It’s our warm, hospitable, hometown feeling though that locals and visitors often mentioned as to why Delray Beach is their favorite place to live, thrive, grow, meet and be. Our vibrant, walkable Downtown—located in the heart of the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) District—is recognized internationally as a world-class shopping, dining and entertainment district, beloved for the sophistication, charm and intimacy found along Atlantic Avenue and beyond. The Set, an evolving area encompassing several neighborhoods and business districts east of I-95, is “a place like no other, rich in history and full of opportunity.”

Competitive Cost of Doing Business

The Delray Beach CRA offers several grant programs to businesses and commercial properties located within the CRA District. These programs encourage job creation and property improvements, which ultimately enhance the quality of life for Delray Beach as a whole.

If you are interested in applying for funding assistance for a business or commercial property, please complete our Business Grant Intake Form, and submit it to the CRA office. This will allow our staff to offer you the most useful information for your specific request. The form may be submitted electronically or in person.
