Come Meet Our New Vendors!
The weather is cooler, the snowbirds are returning, and Season 16 of the Delray GreenMarket is off to a roaring start. We’re in the same location as last season (SE 4th Avenue just south of Atlantic Avenue), with new operating hours—from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.—and some great new vendors for you to meet:
Jerry’s Here, Farm Fresh Produce. Farmer Jerry Sanchez of Homestead, Florida joins our other produce vendors (Cat’s Secret Garden with Green Cay and Thomas Produce) with a double booth full of fresh, locally grown vegetables and fruits.
Winnie’s Fine Baked Goods. Delray native Winnie Diggans Edwards offers her deep-dish key lime pie (by the slice or whole pies), along with Key Lime Cookies, Island Rum Mango Bread, Chocolate Pumpkin Spice Bread, and Spicy Southern Cheese Biscuits. Winnie never uses bottled lime juice; she squeezes every last key lime using her great grandmother’s hand-crank juicer.
Pasta Amore. Don’t be fooled by their modest display. The treasure lies in that portable freezer in the back: fresh-frozen ravioli filled with gourmet ingredients such as Gorgonzola with Pear, Fig & Provolone, or Crab & Lobster, hand-made by Pasta Amore owner Gabriel Daguerre.
But wait…there’s more! We’ve got a new local organic produce grower coming soon. Stay tuned!
HALLOWEEN REMINDER: Bring the whole family this Saturday for Trick or Treat at the GreenMarket!
