The 4th of July Celebration in Delray Beach
Delray Beach is always happening and fun, but especially on the 4th of July! With activities ranging from sandcastle contests to soccer darts, world class dining, flag raising ceremony, mini golf, live entertainment and (of course) fireworks, there is no better place to celebrate our independence! The GreenMarket will be OPEN the Saturday before the 4th of July (July 1, 2017). If you’re planning on throwing a barbecue this 4th of July (or anytime this summer), the Delray GreenMarket is the place to pick up all of the fresh ingredients you may need. Shop for your fresh produce for either grilling kabobs, roasting corn, making fresh salsa, or any other fun summer recipe you can dream up! The Market features over 30 vendors providing fresh produce, exotic summer fruit, artisan baked goods, and so much more. There’s certain to be something for everyone!

A Berry Wonderful 4th of July
1 box yellow cake mix
2 packages of instant vanilla pudding
1 pint raspberries
1 pint blueberries
shredded coconut/grated white chocolate (optional)
Mix cake according to box directions. Add 1 vanilla pudding package. Add additional egg to the mixture. Mix well. Bake as directed in 2 cake rounds. Make the additional package of pudding according to directions. After the cake is completely cooled, cut each cake round in half and spread with vanilla pudding and berries between each layer. (except the top) Spread whipped cream on top and sides of cake and top with additional berries and either shredded coconut or grated white chocolate (or both) serve chilled.
